1. What is the cost of a permit?  
   The cost for one to five vehicles is $2.00 per vehicles.
2. What if I have more then 5 vehicles?
   To purchase a permit for six or more vehicle, we offer the following
   
   1. Blanket I – 6 to 14 vehicles the permit cost is a flat rate of $12.00.
   2. Blanket II - 15 or more vehicles the permit cost is a flat rate of $24.00.
3. What is the duration of the permit?
   The duration of the permit is one year July 1st through June 30th
4. When do the permits expire?
   All permits expire on June 30th of the current year
5. Does the Nevada Highway Patrol offer temporary permits?
   No
6. Can I obtain a permit at the port of entry?
   No, we do not have a port of entry
7. Can I use an Application for proof of purchase of an Amber Light?
   No
8. Will the Nevada Highway Patrol accept an application by FAX with a copy of my check, credit card information or money order?
   No. Payment by credit card will be available in a future release.
9. Do I need to provide an email address to obtain a permit?
   No, although we request an email so we can provide program information and future permit renewal notification.
10. Do I need to be a certified pilot car to operate in Nevada?
    No
